The ResQGARD is an Impedance Threshold
Device (ITD) that provides a safe, simple
and convenient way to treat states of low
blood pressure in spontaneously breathing
patients. The ResQGARD provides therapeutic
benefit as soon as a patient begins to
breathe through it. Animal and clinical
studies have shown that the ResQGARD
increases blood pressure during hypotension
from a variety of causes, for example:
