RESQPOD ON-LINE LEARNING MODULE

The ResQPOD On-line Learning Module consists of three parts:

1.  A 32-slide narrated PowerPoint presentation with the following learning objectives

a. Describe the mechanisms by which CPR promotes forward blood flow.
b. Describe what an impedance threshold device (ITD) is and how it works.
c. Describe how an ITD is used during basic and advanced airway
    management.
d. Describe how common errors can undermine the efficacy of CPR.

2.  A 15-question multiple-choice quiz that is based upon the PowerPoint presentation

3.  A completion certificate may be printed for those who obtain a passing score of 90% or better
  
   on the quiz.

You will be asked to create a unique user name and password to log in.

Please allow 50 – 60 minutes to complete the entire module.

It is the responsibility of each student to determine whether this learning module satisfies the requirements for continuing education credit within their respective healthcare discipline.

 

The generally cleared indication for the ResQPOD is a temporary increase in blood circulation during emergency care, hospital, clinic and home use. Click here to review the Instructions for Use. Studies are ongoing in the United States to evaluate the
long-term benefit of the ResQPOD for indications related to patients suffering from cardiac arrest, hypotension during dialysis
and severe blood loss.
